Shipping policy

 

We want to make your shopping experience as simple as possible, so our shipping methods and policies have been designed to get your order to you as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Please make sure you enter your shipping address correctly as once it has been received, and your order is dispatched we cannot alter the address, and you will be charged the standard applicable postage rate for us to resend. 

 

Shipping methods:

Snoo Hire NZ primarily uses New Zealand Post for product purchases and our parcels are sent on overnight delivery, however, please allow up to 3 working days for potential courier delays and stock availability.

Shipping rates for a Snoo going out on hire are as follows:

Auckland - $80 (delivery in person or by courier - return shipping/collection included)

Northland, Waikato & Tauranga - $99 (delivery in person or by courier - return shipping/collection included)

Rest of North & South Island - $150 (return shipping included)

We cannot ship to Great Barrier Island without an additional surcharge. Please email us for a quote.

Once your order has been completed (the payment has cleared and your order is packaged), you will be sent an automated email from our courier service when they have collected your order (please check your spam if you haven’t received it). You will receive another email prior to delivery, and then again when your item has been delivered. 

Once your order has been shipped, it becomes your property and responsibility. If your order arrives damaged, or is misplaced, please contact us immediately so we are able to track the parcel and/or liaise with the shipping agent.  

 

 

Delivery times:

Packages to urban areas are often delivered on an overnight service, provided the items ordered are in stock and your order is placed before 2.30pm.

Please note that we endeavour to ship your goods within 72 hours of receiving your order. We do not ship on weekends or on public holidays, so any orders placed on a Friday afternoon/Saturday/Sunday will go out early the following week.  However, please allow 5 working days for delivery, as this covers busier times, items out of stock for a day or two and busy times with the courier companies.  We will contact you if the item you have ordered is out of stock.

Our standard delivery service is signature required, so if no one is home when the courier arrives to deliver your order your order will not be delivered.  If you have an "authorised to leave" arrangement set up, the customer takes full responsibility for the order, including if the parcel goes missing.  Please refer to our Snoo Hire Terms and Conditions if you are hiring a SNOO.

 

 

Rural delivery:

Living rurally and experienced frustrations with Rural Shipping surcharges, we made the decision to not pass on the additional charge that we are charged for delivering to rural delivery addresses. However, please allow an additional 2-4 days for delivery if you are rural.
